Modern Dog Brand Ideation

Driven by a love for dogs, The Modern Dog was established in 2009, initially as a dog walking service. By 2013, it expanded to a physical location on Dorchester Ave, offering grooming, retail, and a DIY dog wash. In August 2020, The Modern Dog further extended its reach in the Greater Boston area with a new location in Marina Bay, Quincy. This site features a doggie daycare, boutique, professional bathing services, and a DIY dog wash. The client sought a bay-inspired update to their original logo. Collaborating with the talented interior architects at iD8 Design, I helped create a refreshed brand identity that incorporates elements reflecting the new bay location while honoring the original design.
